SVP, ESG and Public Policy
Kimelyn Harris is an ESG Program Executive for the Racial Equality and Economic Opportunity initiative at Bank of America. In this role, she is responsible for executing programming to support the bank’s $1.25 billion, 5-year effort to advance economic opportunity, health care initiatives and racial equality, for people and communities of color. Kimelyn drives business planning and integration for this companywide initiative while also working to identify and build partnerships with organizations, institutions and community leaders.
Prior to this role, Kimelyn provided strategic, operational and programming support for Employee Giving & Volunteering, Social Justice and Economic Mobility initiatives. Additional responsibilities included driving engagement towards operational excellence in support of the bank’s philanthropic efforts.
She also previously held roles as a Business Change Manager within Global Treasury Services where she was responsible for program management, client servicing and product implementation for large, complex and specialized client implementations and as a Business Integration Consultant within Global Risk Management where she was responsible for the development and implementation of decision strategies and credit scoring tools used for the Consumer Small Business banking portfolios.
Kimelyn lives in Charlotte, where she has served on the board of Florence Crittenton Services, a non-profit provider of health, educational and social services for women and children, since 2016. She also supports her local community through ongoing volunteerism and other activities.
